Hispania. The Roman Conquest
In 201 B.C. the Second Punic War ends with the surrender of Carthage and the absolute victory of Rome, an insatiable republic that has already set its sights on its next prey: Hispania. From the Carthaginian possessions on its Mediterranean coast, renamed the provinces of Ulterior and Citerior, Rome ordered its praetors to conquer the entire peninsula. An apparently simple task for the armies that had just defeated the great Hannibal.
HISPANIA is a cooperative and competitive game, in which 1 to 4 players take on the role of all the praetors and consuls that Rome had to send to Hispania during two centuries. Your goal will be to subdue all the peoples of the peninsula before the turn of the millennium in order to incorporate Hispania into the budding empire, emulating its first emperor Caesar Augustus. The fate of Hispania is now in your hands!
