The 2025 Para Bellum special contains the game L’Ultima Battaglia, a simulation by Andrea Brusati on the battle of Volturno, one of the most important battles of the Risorgimento and, again, never simulated before.
The game uses an evolution of the rules of Una Vittoria Inutile (Goito 1848), published in Para Bellum VI.
This special issue includes scenarios for playing the battles of Curtatone and Montanara and Santa Lucia for those who own that issue of the magazine.
